Meet the Founder

Jessie Mayo is a communications strategist and community engagement leader with deep roots in the nonprofit sector, local government, and small business. She holds a Master’s in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s in Public Relations, and she’s built her career on purposeful storytelling and authentic connection. She started Mayo Communications & Creative to bring strategic, heart-forward communications to the organizations that need it most.

When you work with us, you work directly with Jessie, from the first conversation to the final product.

When she’s not designing, writing, or strategizing, you can find Jessie experimenting in the kitchen, planning her next international trip, or singing a little too loudly along to a record, with her dog Jordy close by offering moral support.
